What is Kibble: Ingredients & How It’s MadeKibble refers to a dry pet food made by mixing proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins… Kibble formulas in general are made out of ingredients tailored to the dietary needs of cats and dogs (species, age, kibble for special health conditions, etc)

Proteins

Both cats and dogs require protein, which is vital for them, but the standards differ. This is especially important for cats because they are obligate carnivores, and will require more protein intake usually gained from meat, poultry or fish. With the exception of meat based proteins, as omnivores, dogs are capable of breaking down a variety of different proteins including plant-based sources like soy or peas. Protein serves as a building block for tissue repair and muscle growth.

Fats
